Universal Beijing Resort Announes Hotel Operating Partner: Kempinski Hotels and Beijing Tourism Group, Through Key International Hotels, Will Manage Two World-class Hotels

The hotels will be destinations unto themselves – entire worlds offering incredible guest experiences.  It is those guest experiences that Key International Hotels – a joint venture between Kempinski Hotels and Beijing Tourism Group – will help bring to life.  Key International will operate both hotels.

The Universal Studios Grand Hotel and the Nuo Resort Hotel – Universal Beijing Resort will bring entirely new hospitality experiences to life for guests at the Universal Beijing Resort.  They were designed by Universal Parks & Resorts, with Key International helping to design the interior of the Nuo Resort Hotel – Universal Beijing Resort.  The two hotels are being built by the Beijing International Resort Co., Ltd., the owner of Universal Beijing Resort.  Beijing International Resort Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Universal Parks & Resorts and Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Company.

The Universal Studios Grand Hotel, resplendent in classic, dazzling glory, will offer a contemporary interpretation of the Hollywood Golden Age. Designed in classic Spanish style, the hotel will be positioned at the entrance to the Universal Studios Beijing theme park and serve as a beacon of relaxation and escape for guests and their families.  Guests will experience an authentic, Universal-themed, resort-style vacation. 

The Nuo Resort Hotel – Universal Beijing Resort will offer a luxurious and picturesque escape exemplifying the beauty of China’s ancient royal garden. It is the first-ever resort hotel from Nuo, one of the country’s first homegrown luxury hotel brands. Inspired by the Chinese traditional cultural and artistic achievements, this hotel will mix business with pleasure and art with technology and sustainability. Guests will immerse themselves in rich Chinese culture heritage and modern elegance – in a palatial resort where eastern and western elements are kept in perfect harmony and Chinese luxury hospitality is a priority.

Beijing Shouhuan Cultural Tourism Investment Company, Ltd. (BSH Investment) was founded to support the investment of Universal Beijing Resort. Under the guideline to, “drive the development of an industry and a region with a project,” BSH Investment and Universal Parks & Resort will jointly invest Universal Beijing Resort with extraordinary design, technology, creativity and environmental protection.
