Making health contagious: Kempinski Hotels launches its BE Health Corporate Social Responsibility Programme in collaboration with Sino-Ocean Charity Foundation

Beijing, 20 March 2023 – BE Health, the Corporate Social Responsibility Programme by Kempinski Hotels, is now launched in China with its first initiative to be rolled out soon in Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou. Kempinski believes that health is fundamental both from an individual and collective perspective as health is a common base needed for the world to function. In addition, hotels cannot function in isolation from their social environment and can actively contribute to the health of its employees’ community. This is the reason why Kempinski created BE Health to raise health awareness and facilitate health prevention activities at each hotel worldwide and in their local community. Today and under BE Health’s vision of a world where health is contagious, Kempinski hotels in China will work to foster health prevention and care for people in their local community.

We understand that sustainability is not our solitary fight, and have always been working hard to find partners we can work with. Sino-Ocean Charity Foundation and we share the same philosophy and objective, and they have been an effective contributor to charity since 2008. Kempinski Hotel Hangzhou marks the beginning of Kempinski Hotels’ effort to promote the importance of philanthropy to hotel guests in China, and advocates everyone to engage, support charitable programs, and try to implement health-related preventive programs in their workplace and living community wherever possible.
